Are You Flourishing Or Barely Surviving?

We all want to survive, don’t we?

We all want to keep going, to continue with this wonderful experience we call life. Well, most of us do.

There are some people who haven’t yet learned how to flourish in life. I want to help those people to better understand how they can learn to flourish.

There are a few things that those people need to know about who and what they are, and what they are actually capable of achieving in life.

Maximum Success

Success is not just something that relates to your job, or your career. It actually relates to everything you do in life.
In this article, we are going to look at the nature of success in relation to your entire life. If we can learn to live a successful life, then not only will we be surviving, we will be flourishing.

Imagine living the kind of life you have always wanted, or at the very least, the kind of life where you have more freedom, where you have more choice, where you have more opportunities, where you grow, learn, and evolve.

This is what we are aiming for. This is a truly successful life.

So, how do we learn to flourish?

Here are a few things you can do to help yourself:

1. Go beyond your comfort zone

When it comes to most things that are really worth achieving in life, you are going to have to go outside of your comfort zone. Inside your comfort zone are the things you are familiar with, the things you have known and have done for the majority of your life.

If you stay inside your comfort zone, you are guaranteeing that you will live the exact same kind of life you have been living up to now.

Going beyond your comfort zone, means pushing through the experiences that make you uncomfortable, doing the things that you find challenging, and not giving up when things get tough.

2. Consider new approaches to the same situations

When you want to change things up in your life, it should go without saying that something or some things need to change. A common argument that holds people back in life, is that they think they have tried everything to improve their situation.
But there is an age old saying that comes to mind here, “Where there is a will, there is a way.” As long as you don’t give up trying, you may have to try a thousand times, in a thousand different ways, eventually you will achieve what you want to achieve.

If you think you have done everything you can, figure out a way to improve and expand on your knowledge and skill set, so that you can try again in some ways that you haven’t yet tried.

3. An open mind is a source of growth

Having an open mind in life is a lot like having a large field of nutrient rich earth; You can plant anything in it. If you keep yourself open to what happens around you, you will find that opportunities to grown and evolve come everywhere.
If you have a closed mind you are very likely to miss out on these opportunities when they arise.

Having an open mind is the key to conquering your fears and phobias, to finding new connections with people you have never met, to understanding yourself and your capabilities in all areas of your life; a closed mind is the exact opposite of this.

Open yourself up to the potential that exists around you, and you’ll find yourself flourishing in no time at all.
With this small amount of advice, I hope you have found yourself a foothold along the path to flourishing in your life. One of the most important things I can say is this, “Just don’t give up!”

No matter what, you must figure out how you can change what you want to. Giving up, is like accepting hell as heaven. If you have the strength to push on though, you will grow into the kind of person you want to be, you will flourish in life, in everything you do.
