Unlike other coaches who offer cookie cutter service packages where “one size fits all”, I am reluctant to place a time limit on your results or pre-define the number of coaching sessions you require in advance.
You are unique and your coaching sessions need to be tailored specifically to your needs and circumstances. There are no minimum number of sessions you need to commit to, with my approach you’re in the driver’s seat and get to choose how many sessions you feel you need to accomplish your goal.
Coaching is about helping people to become aware of and identify the obstacles that keep getting in their way. It is about unlocking someone’s potential to help them achieve their personal best. Coaches help client’s with accountability and pinpoint any resistance to change, assisting them with gaining awareness of who they really are. Clients are assisted with gaining clarity and identifying what is really important to them, as well as the options and actions open to them in order to effect the change they desire in their lives. Coaching leads to insight for the client about their growth areas and strengths , thus empowering them forward.
In a nutshell, it will make you feel great! Coaching helps you fall in love with who you promised yourself to be! Life coaching can improve self esteem and confidence, increase happiness and life satisfaction levels, help you find a work/life balance, reduces stress and help you establish focus, clarity and direction for your life endeavours. Many clients report feeling increased energy levels and greater productivity as well.
That depends on you – what you are wanting to change or achieve, and how committed you are to achieving the desired results. It depends on the amount of effort you are willing to make. Some clients achieve their goals in as little as 1 – 3 months. For others, it may be 3 – 6 months or even longer. After clients realise their first goals, it is common to identify others areas they wish to work on. The coaching relationship continues as long as there is benefit to the client.
However many coaching techniques and strategies once learned through coaching sessions, can then be applied and practised on your own, reducing the need for further coaching. In fact, this should be the goal of an ethical and great coach, as it demonstrates your ability to cope more effectively with new situations, obstacles, and challenges as they arise. This may sound counter-intuitive, however a good coach should have the goal of empowering you and so reducing your dependency on them as soon as possible.
Sessions are conducted over Zoom. This means that no matter where in the world you live, sessions can be scheduled at a mutually convenient time. Sessions are typically for one hour and always determined beforehand. Depending on the session, you may receive a recording of the session which can be most helpful to listen to again after our call. Email support is available between sessions for coaching packages of 4 or more sessions.
Yes…absolutely! Everyone needs a coach at some time. Having an outside perspective really helps when we are struggling to see ourselves accurately. And that applies equally to both men and women. While therapy may seem a little daunting to some men, coaching is more akin to having a good friend walk alongside you and point you in the right direction.
It is my firm belief that success requires us to see challenges and struggles as an opportunity and invitation to learn more about ourselves and discover a new way of being – in alignment with who we really are and what we truly desire. Only then can we grow into our true purpose and and who we are meant to be.
